Setup
As part of this project we have prepared both a preconfigured image and an Ansible setup script that can be used with a Raspberry Pi. Both will enable you to do all exercises described in this book. However since the Ansible setup script only works with the 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS and there can be many unforeseeable conflicts with existing setups, it is highly recommended to use our preconfigured Raspberry Pi image instead of running the Ansible setup script on an existing OS.
If you still want to use an existing installation, you can follow the steps outlined in the Ansible Setup chapter.
Required Hardware
- Raspberry Pi (3B or newer. 4B with 2GB or more is highly recommended. For more information see Limitations of the Raspberry Pi)
- micro-SD card class 10 or better (>=16GB)
- micro-SD card reader
